Last Supper: Abu Dis

Documentary Dutch premiere
While walls have been brought down in most parts of the world, a new one is being built right now on Palestinian soil. Last Supper: Abu Dis documents the last days in which Ali and Sumaya can see the sun set behind the old town of Jerusalem from their terrace, and go to visit their neighbours across the road. It is a testimony of how the village of Abu Dis and its inhabitants slowly get incarcerated by the 8-meter high Israeli wall. While the village gets encircled with a speed of 10 to 15 metres a day, the inhabitants talk about their isolation with deep sadness.
